Marcus Ruggiero - Episode 080
When a boy grows up in an Italian family in Schenectady, NY, struggling to find his identity through music in a family of 11 children, the result is not your average singer songwriter. Marcus Ruggiero's songs of both the beauty and darkness of life have resulted in several recordings, including the highly acclaimed "Shed Some Light" which features, "Theirs A Girl I Need To Go See About" inspired by the movie "Good Will Hunting" and "Another Cold Day In June." A story of a man at end of his foolish road, homeless. Marcus' records can be heard on radio stations throughout the country, as well as in live performances as a soloist and with his band. Ruggiero is currently in the studio working on his latest project, American Car's a recording of more original tunes that shoot a patriotic flare that hits home with the American family unit and the American Dream cloaked by political magicians, financial struggles and the false hope of living beyond our means, showcasing his rich vocal artistry and insistent guitar playing.
