Acoustic Trauma is a trio whose concept and goal is to defy the common stereotype that has tagged acoustic rock as being "laid back" or "tame". In the 1990's, many popular bands have toned down their acts, characterizing themselves as being "unplugged".

Aurora is a singer/songwriter whos written and performed over 40 songs. Her music is described as having pop/rock and R&B roots.

Awake was formed in the summer of 2008. Two of the three members of the trio are session musicians and music teachers. Dave Lombardo, the original member, has been teaching and doing session work for over 3 years (since the end of high school) while Steve Struss, drummer, teaches drums. Bill Thony, an experienced keyboard player, joined the group and formed Awake, which is a progressive rock trio.

Contemporary Classical - World Music: The mission of the Basso Moderno Duo is to promote the works of living composers from all over the world by educating nontraditional audiences about contemporary music. We are extremely active in promoting the music of living composers, giving 80 plus recitals of new music each year. We have commissioned over 100 new works from celebrated composers in 50 countries and all 7 continents, started a festival, several concert series and created the Basically Modern Arts Sanctuary. The Basically Modern Arts Sanctuary invites composers from all over the world so that they might have the opportunity to compose a new work while visiting New York. We have pushed the limits of the solo bass and have redefined what was previously thought possible and then commissioned an entirely new repertoire by celebrated composers that reflect these advances. Most importantly we have helped promote the works of living masters from composers all over the world and continue to find creative ways to attract listeners to contemporary music.

Big Nixon is a new band out of Albany, NY. Since forming in the fall of 2006, they have joined with AlbanyAmped.com and have played establishments like Tess Lark Tavern, The Skyline and Savannahs. They have also shared the stage with The Chruchills.

The Foy Brothers Band is a multi talented Soul/ Funk/ R&B/ Blues band that has been entertaining audiences in the Capital Region for over ten years. With the release of their first CD "Whatever" in the year 2000 and winners of the Northeast Blues Society's Colossal Contenders Blues Challenge of the same year, the Foy Brothers continue to evolve into the tight-knit band they are today.

The band Frakture are former members of “Tripsonic,” Dave Blenis and Tom Mcmahon branched off to create their own original modern rock project.

I'm a solo acoustic guitarist, singer, harmonica player. I do mostly covers with some originals. I primarily perform I guess what could be called classic acoustic rock (Eagles, Van Morrison, etc.) with some blues and country thrown in.

Overall, I'm just another person with a musical hobby. I'm not the world's best musician, nor do I claim to be. I'm just having fun playing around and recording new music in the Capital Region and beyond. It's something I love to do.

The Nite Train Band has been entertaining Capital District crowds since its inception in March of 2003. The band has come a long way since its first show, with the most radical upheaval occurring in 2006 when our bassist/band-leader and keyboardist joined the band.

We play music from Classic rock as well as 90's alternative. We rock the local clubs as well as weddings and parties. We have been playing for the last 15+ years and have a very good reputation.

Mostly original music with an occasional "trad" tune thrown into the mix. Scary Crick is a 4-piece acoustic folk-punk band (Banjo, Bodhran, Guitar and Mandolin) that plays "pluuged" or "unplugged." They prefer their audience to be up close and raucous.
